What 18 recorded HRT offers actually publish

Original statistics from this guide's own dated records: 18 offers across 12 telehealth programs, read on 23 and 26 October 2026. Half of the offers support an all-in monthly figure. The other half do not, for four different reasons, and none of them is averaged into the rest.

These denominators are the whole report. Every offer in the record set is counted, including the ones that publish nothing: 4 carry a required cost with no amount and 6 state no billing interval, and both are counted rather than excluded. One ranked commercial placement in the guide holds no researched offer row, so it sits outside these denominators; there are no other exclusions.

Nine findings, each with its denominator

Figures are computed from the record set at build time, so they cannot drift from the provider pages. Every card names the denominator and the read dates behind it.

9 of 18

offers publish a charge complete enough to derive an all-in monthly figure

4 of those 9 are charged on a cycle that is not a calendar month, so the monthly figure is arithmetic on the charge, not a restatement of it.

9 offers of 18, read Oct 23, 2026 and Oct 26, 2026

9 of 18

offers cannot be reduced to one monthly number, for four different reasons

3 quote a monthly rate with no cycle, 1 give a supply estimate only, 2 publish known charges with a required cost unpriced, and 3 publish no recurring amount at all.

9 offers of 18, by pricing posture

6 of 18

offers state no billing interval at all

Without a published cycle there is no monthly figure to derive. Any number printed for these offers would be an assumption about how often they bill, so none is printed.

6 offers of 18

5 of 18

offers bill on a cycle that is not a calendar month

Two bill every 28 days, two per 90-day supply and one per three calendar months. A 28-day cycle recurs 13.04 times a year, so a charge multiplied by twelve understates the year.

5 offers of 18

5 of 18

offers price two medicines on a single charge

Estradiol and progesterone are billed as one amount. No source splits it, so a per-medicine price is not established for those programs and none is invented.

5 offers of 18, across 5 programs

1 of 12

programs bill a separate monthly membership on top of the medication

1 more state a membership inside the recurring charge, and the rest record an explicit $0. A membership-only charge is never pooled with a medication-inclusive plan.

12 researched programs

3 of 12

programs describe a route where a pharmacy or a plan may be billed

1 states that insurance is not billed and the remainder say nothing either way. No program publishes a copay, so no insurance figure appears in this study.

4 of 18

offers carry a required cost with no published amount

That blank withholds the all-in figure for those offers rather than reporting the smaller published charge as a total. A blank is counted as a blank, never as zero.

4 offers of 18

1 of 18

offer is a local/vaginal preparation, and it is held apart

A vaginal cream is not a systemic treatment and is never averaged with one. Its figure is reported on its own, with the supply basis that produced it.

1 offer of 18

Comparison groups, and why the median is quarantined

A median is printed only where a group is alike on route, on what the charge buys and on pricing posture, and holds at least three offers. Where it is not, the individual figures are listed and no central number is drawn. A median of three or four recorded plans describes those plans; it is not a market average and it is not a quote.

8 of the 9 derived figures sit in one of the four groups below. The remaining 1 is a plan that names several routes including a vaginal cream, so it is listed in the full table and deliberately not pooled. The 1 local/vaginal offer is reported on its own, in the supply-estimate group, and never enters a systemic group.

What is never done here

  • A local/vaginal cream is never averaged with a systemic treatment.
  • A membership-only charge is never pooled with a medication-inclusive plan.
  • A two-medicine charge is never divided into a per-medicine price.
  • A quoted rate or a supply estimate is never reported as a derived monthly bill.
  • A blank is never zero and never an average.

A charge shown as billed on a 28-day, 90-day or quarterly cycle is the amount the provider actually charges, not a pre-divided monthly figure. Where a program publishes a range rather than a single rate, the offer is held at no single amount rather than at the low end of the range.

Membership, billing interval and insurance

Three facts that change what a headline figure means. 1 of 12 programs bill a separate monthly membership and 1 state a membership inside the recurring charge. 5 of 18 offers bill on a cycle that is not a calendar month. 3 of 12 programs describe an insurance route, and none publishes a copay.

Monthly membership, by program

A membership is a charge for access, not for a medicine. It is recorded separately so a membership-only figure cannot be read as the cost of treatment.

Billing interval, by offer

The interval, not the amount, is what makes two charges comparable. A year does not hold twelve of every cycle.

Swipe the table sideways

Billing intervals across the offer set: the number of offers on each interval and the number of charges a year that interval produces.
IntervalOffersCharges a yearWhat it means
One calendar month712Twelve charges a year. The charge and the monthly figure are the same number.
Every 28 days213.04A 28-day cycle covers 336 days, so a year holds a thirteenth charge. $89 every 28 days is $96.75 a month, not $89.
Every 90 days24.06Four charges plus a few days. Stored as the 90-day charge, never pre-divided at 12 weeks.
Every three calendar months14A calendar quarter, not 12 weeks. The charge divides by three months, never by 84 days.
No interval stated6—No billing cycle is published, so no monthly figure can be derived without inventing one.

Insurance, by what the program actually says

Silence is recorded as silence. A page that never mentions insurance has not stated that insurance is unavailable, and this study does not treat the two as the same finding.

Method, and how to reproduce it

The study is arithmetic on a published record set, not a survey. Anyone holding the CSV below can rebuild every count on this page.

  1. 01

    One row per offer

Each row is a single offer from a single program. Where a program prices several formulations separately, each is its own row. The denominator is the number of rows, and it is printed beside every count.

  2. 02

The charge is stored as billed

A charge billed every 28 days, every 90 days or every three calendar months is stored at that amount. The monthly figure is derived from the charge and the published cycle; a calendar quarter is never converted at 84 days.

  3. 03

A posture is assigned before any figure

Each offer is classed as an all-in derived figure, a provider-quoted rate, a supply estimate, known charges only, or no recurring charge. Only the first class is eligible for the medians, and the class is printed on every row.

  4. 04

Groups are split before a median

Offers are grouped by route, by what the charge buys and by whether a separate membership applies. A median is drawn only from a group of at least three offers that agree on all three, and the group members are listed so the figure can be checked.

  5. 05

    A blank withholds, never fills

Where a required cost has no published amount, the all-in figure is not derived. Where a supply period is published without a billing interval, the monthly figure is labelled a supply estimate. Where nothing is published, the row prints nothing.

  6. 06

    Dates travel with every row

Each offer carries the date its own page was read: 12 offers on Oct 23, 2026, 6 offers on Oct 26, 2026. No record is presented as reverified on a date it was not read.

Excluded by design: no promotional or free-first-month price is used; a one-time fee is never spread across the monthly figure; no figure from a comparison listing is used where the provider's own page is silent; and no clinical claim, score, ranking or sponsorship is read into any number here. 4 of the 9 derived figures come from a non-monthly cycle.

Questions this study answers

How much does online HRT cost in 2026?

Of the 18 HRT offers recorded on Oct 23, 2026 and Oct 26, 2026, 9 publish a charge complete enough to derive an all-in monthly figure. Single-medicine plans with no separate membership: 3 recorded plans, $79.00 to $161.97 a month, median $100.00. Plans that cover estradiol and progesterone on one charge with no separate membership: 3 recorded plans, $96.75 to $201.90 a month, median $134.00. These are medians of recorded plans, not a market average, and a local vaginal preparation is never included in either group.

How many HRT programs publish a complete monthly price?

Half of them, exactly: 9 of 18 offers. The other 9 cannot be reduced to one monthly number, and not for one reason: some quote a monthly rate with no billing cycle, one gives a supply estimate, some publish a known charge while a required cost is unpriced, and some publish no recurring amount at all. A blank is counted as a blank, never as zero.

Why is there no single average HRT price?

Because four distinctions would have to be erased to produce one. A local vaginal cream is not a systemic treatment. A care-only charge for a consult is not a medicine price, because the medicine is billed at a pharmacy. A plan where one charge covers two medicines has no per-medicine price to compare. And a rate the provider quotes itself is not a figure derived from a billing cycle. Each of those is reported in its own group, with its own denominator, and none is pooled into a headline average.

Do online HRT programs take insurance?

Of the 12 researched programs, 3 describe a route where a pharmacy or a plan may be billed, 1 states that insurance is not billed, and 8 say nothing either way. No program publishes a copay, so no insurance figure appears anywhere in this study — silence is reported as silence rather than as unavailable.

Are a 28-day charge and a monthly charge the same?

No. A 28-day cycle covers 336 days, so a year holds 13.04 charges rather than 12. 5 of the 18 offers bill on a cycle that is not a calendar month, and 6 state no cycle at all. A charge multiplied by twelve understates any 28-day program, which is why the record stores the charge as billed and derives the monthly figure from the cycle the provider publishes.

How were these figures checked, and how can I verify them?

Every offer was read from the provider's own page and carries its own read date: 12 offers on Oct 23, 2026, 6 offers on Oct 26, 2026. Each row on this page shows the charge as billed, the interval, the membership and the posture, and the underlying rows can be downloaded as CSV. Nothing here is inferred from a comparison listing.

HRT Buyer Guide, What 18 recorded HRT offers actually publish, 2026 online HRT pricing release. 18 offers across 12 researched programs, records read Oct 23, 2026 and Oct 26, 2026. 9 offers support an all-in monthly figure; the remainder are reported by posture and never averaged into it. Figures computed from the published record set at https://hrtbuyerguide.com/research/2026-online-hrt-pricing. A local vaginal preparation is reported separately and is not pooled with systemic therapy.

Ranking, kept separate: the ranked guide prints a publisher score and a position the publisher chooses for commercial reasons. No figure on this page is weighted, banded or averaged into that ranking, and changing a rank never changes a charge recorded here. The study is also independent of any sponsored placement, which carries no researched offer row.
