How to cite a figure without misreporting it
Every number on this site has a source and a check date. Quoting one without both turns a dated record into a claim the provider never made.
Cite the charge, then the derivation
A $99 membership plus a $50 medication charge derives to $149 a month. Report the charge and what it covers first. If the monthly figure is used, describe it as derived and name the components behind it.
The Buyer Guide Score
The score measures how completely a program's charges are established, on five published components across a 75-to-100 scale. The floor of 75 is the inclusion baseline, not a quality verdict. It is not a quality rating and must not be described as one. The bands are named for disclosure (full, broad, partial, narrow, baseline) and describe how much of a program's price is published, nothing else. Where a program is included in the guide but scores low because a fee is unpriced, say that rather than calling the program expensive.
Source of the figures
Every price in the current set was read from the provider's own pricing page and carries the date it was read. Where a provider prices several formulations differently, each is reported at its own price rather than collapsed into one figure.
