Sources
The pages behind the figures
Each record names the source a figure came from and the date it was read. In the current set that source is the provider's own pricing page, named on the record.
What counts as a source
The provider's own pricing page, where the amount is stated against the plan it belongs to. A comparison or affiliate listing is used only where the provider publishes nothing itself, and it is labeled differently so the two are never confused.
What a source has to establish
The amount, the cadence, and whether a fee is included, separate or outstanding. A page that names a fee without pricing it is recorded as not established for that field, and the record shows the gap.
When a source changes
The record is rechecked, the new figure is entered with a new check date, and the change is logged with the previous value. Sources are never edited to match a newer figure after the fact.
