# HRT Buyer Guide > A record sheet comparing what hormone therapy programs charge > for estradiol and progesterone, and what a buyer commits to. One record per > provider per product, with a named source and a read date on every figure. ## What this site is - Scope: estradiol and progesterone payment terms only. Descriptive background about a preparation is labeled as background; the site makes no treatment recommendation. - Records: one per provider per product. Every figure carries a source label and a read date. - Ranking: exactly one ranked page. Every other list is alphabetical and says so. - Score: Buyer Guide Score runs 75 to 100. 75 is the inclusion baseline for being a listed, sourced record; the 25 points above it are price level 7, price completeness 8, required fees priced 4, terms on record 4 and transparency 2. Bands are named for disclosure completeness (full, broad, partial, narrow, baseline), never for quality of care. It measures how completely a program's charges are published. It is not a quality or clinical rating. ## Where the figures come from Every price in the current record set was read from the provider's own pricing page, and the record names the page and the date it was read. Where a provider prices several formulations differently, each is recorded at its own price. Each figure is the provider's standard published rate. No introductory offer, free first month, term discount or "from" price is used as a program's price, and a one-time charge is never spread across the monthly figure to make it look smaller. The supplied source column "lowest advertised monthly" was NOT an all-in figure. On most rows it excluded medication, a membership or a consultation, so it is never read as a monthly equivalent. ## How to read the data - A field reading "not established" means no published source supports a figure at the read date. It does not mean zero and must not be reported as zero or replaced with an average. - A monthly figure is derived from the charge as billed, using amount x 365.25 / 12 / days for a fixed-day cadence, or the amount itself for a calendar-month charge. - A 28-day cycle recurs 13.04 times a year, not twelve. - An all-in figure is published only where the charges are complete enough to derive one. Where medication, a membership or a consultation is left unpriced, the all-in figure is withheld. ## Current data status Twelve women's HRT programs are recorded. Testosterone and gender-affirming programs were outside scope and were not imported. Four programs carry a required cost with no published amount (Gala, Evernow, Wisp and Midi Health), so no all-in figure is derived for their offers rather than reporting the smaller membership or consult charge as if it were the total. ## Key pages - Ranked guide: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/buyerguide - Comparison ledger: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/compare - Method: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/how-we-compare - Sources: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/sources - Criteria: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/criteria - Disclosures: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/disclosures - Corrections: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/corrections - Dataset: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/datasets - Glossary: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/glossary - Machine summary: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/ai-info - Full index for machines, with the route map and citation rules: https://hrtbuyerguide.com/llms-full.txt ## Reading a page as markdown Every page on this host answers a request that includes `Accept: text/markdown` with the same record as markdown (`Content-Type: text/markdown`), and an `x-markdown-tokens` header with an estimated token count. Requests without that header still receive the HTML page, so nothing changes for a browser. The markdown carries the charge, the cadence and the source date in plain text; the rendered page adds the tables. The corpus behind it is at https://hrtbuyerguide.com/markdown/index.md and https://hrtbuyerguide.com/markdown/records.md. ## For automated clients An API catalog is published at https://hrtbuyerguide.com/.well-known/api-catalog as a linkset (`application/linkset+json`, RFC 9727). It names the OpenAPI description at /api/openapi.json, the documentation, and a liveness endpoint at /api/health. Every document response carries these relations in a `Link` header (RFC 8288), so the same resources are reachable without reading a body first: - `rel="api-catalog"` → /.well-known/api-catalog - `rel="service-desc"` → /api/openapi.json - `rel="service-doc"` → /llms.txt (this file) - `rel="describedby"` → /llms-full.txt and /auth.md An auth document is published at https://hrtbuyerguide.com/auth.md. It records that access is anonymous and unconditional: no account, no key, no registration step, and no write surface. There is no authorization server, so no OAuth protected-resource metadata is published — a placeholder issuer would be worse than silence. ## Notices Estradiol and progesterone are prescription treatments. A compounded preparation is not an FDA-approved finished product and is not interchangeable with a branded one, even where the active ingredient is the same. Nothing here is medical advice.
